how it all started

In 2010, we observed that learning and development initiatives were diving in quality and results, which affected the belief of the corporate world in investing time and money behind it.

So, we dug down and identified five corporate needs that were lacking:

With solving the above in mind, mynditude® embarked on its first trip in 2011.

professional career

Amr’s career spanned over 15 years in the business field. His last assignment before mynditude® was with United Biscuits UK (makers of McVitie’s) as the Commercial Director partnering with distributors in the Levant, North Africa and Iran region. Prior to that, he was the Marketing and Business Development Manager in FDC (FMCG Distribution). Further back, he had started his career handling the consumer communication portfolio of Unilever, Nike, Warner Lambert, and Heineken at J. Walter Thompson.

DRIVE AND STYLE

Amr’s new life kicked off with mynditude® and the fun elevated.

His drive comes from a firm belief in creating a thinking space that offers clarity and increases personal responsibility to prolong momentary performance in both people and organizations, and turn it into a long-term sustainable learning process of reflection and constant self-improvement.

Over the years, Amr developed a precise coaching method. Combined with the adaptivity and positive attitude, this methodology allows him to convert and connect complex concepts with simple everyday realities.

EXECUTIVE LEARNING, EDUCATION AND ACCREDITATIONs

Certified from Harvard Business School in Strategic Management, and from INSEAD in Management Acceleration, Amr attended two different coaching schools for a more rounded approach. He’s an alumnus of the UK School of Coaching (Executive Coaching) as well as the Coach Training Institute (Co-Active Coaching). He holds several accreditations: Myers Briggs Type Indicator® MBTI®, Insights Discovery®, ScrumMaster, Emotional Intelligence, EQi-2.0®, Strength-Based Coaching. Amr studied his MBA in the American University in Beirut and holds a BS in Business Computer from the Lebanese American University.
